These Grants are funded by the government and the utility companies and are NON-REPAYABLE. Many of these grants will come to an end, once the funding available is exhausted. Make sure that you apply immediately so you are not left out in the cold

Grants for GAS central heating have risen from £2,700 to £3,500 and from £4,000 to £6,000, for OIL central heating. Households where anyone is receiving one of the following benefits should be eligible for a 100% Heating grants:

If you are over 60, own or privately rent your home and do not qualify for a Warm Front Grant because you do not receive a relevant benefit, you may be eligible for a £300 rebate

Whatever your income, grants of between 50% and 70% are available for loft or cavity wall insulation. Grants are available to all homeowners and private tenants.

Households where anyone is receiving one of the following benefits or tax credits, or anyone is age of 70 or over, should be eligible for a 100% grants:

  • Income Support
  • Housing Benefit
  • Council Tax Benefit
  • Employment and Support Allowance
  • Disabled Persons Tax Credit
  • War Disablement Pension (providing you’re also in receipt of Mobility Supplement or Constant Attendance Allowance)
  • Attendance Allowance
  • Industrial Injuries Disablement Benefit (providing you’re also in receipt of Constant Attendance Allowance)
  • Child Tax Credit (Providing your annual income is less than £16,040)
  • Working Tax Credit (Providing your annual income is less than £16,040)
  • Disability Living Allowance
  • Pension Credit

Not on a qualifying benefit?

If you do not fulfill the eligibility criteria for free insulation, then grants from around 50% rising to 70% are available for loft and cavity wall insulation, so you can still save massively. For example, on a 3-4 bedroomed detached house, you can save up to around £500 for cavity wall insulation, or around 70%.
